Adair was one of the Queen's Ravens, in Seduced by Moonlight he was one of half a dozen crop and fertility associated sidhe the queen ordered Merry to bed upon her return to the Unseelie sithen. He tried to refuse the order, but the Queen punished him by shearing off much of his hair off.
He was with Merry when their combined power revived the Healing Spring in the Unseelie sithen.
After having stood with Merry and the other Ravens in the face of the Queen's spell induced blood lust and rage, he threw himself between Merry and the Queen after Merry attempted to stop a massacre of the Ravens; he later swore his undying allegiance to Meredith, naming her his ameraudur, a battle leader, chosen for love, not bloodline; a person for whom another would give his life gladly. Both Galen and Adair took blows meant for Merry, this was noted and acknowledged by the Queen.
